Farzana Adams

Farzana Adams is the CEO for the Fresh Produce Safety Centre – ANZ, (FPSC-ANZ) which is an industry led not-for-profit organisation activating connections and collaborations with global leaders in fresh produce to build industry capacity and capability to deliver safe fresh produce to consumers. The FPSC-ANZ was jointly founded by the University of Sydney and the International Fresh Produce Association A-NZ (IFPA A-NZ).

Farzana has extensive experience across the end-to-end fresh produce value chain and is passionate about food safety, capacity building and enabling teams to achieve ambitious goals. Her global experience also spans seafood, poultry and animal health.

Her qualifications include a Master of Science in Food Safety from Michigan State University, an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology and Applied Microbiology from the University of South Australia. She has also completed the Company Directors Course through the Institute of Directors New Zealand.
